PREdistribuce, a.s. is the distribution grid operator of the Czech capital Prague with a supply area of 505 km². As a subsidiary of Pražská energetika, a.s., we operate over 12,000 km of cables and invest more than EUR 60 million annually in the power grid. PREdistribuce, a.s. is a member of Eurelectric and EDSO for Smart Grids.

In the flexQgrid project, we are participating in the integration of the developed concepts into the real grid operation. For this purpose, we contribute our experience with the operation of an urban distribution grid, which is why our focus is on the integration into grid control. With reference to the project results, we are investigating the possibility of their transferability in the context of the general conditions applicable in the Czech Republic.
